- Born in Huron County Ohio on 9 July 1830, she was the only daughter of David H. and Lucy Wells. In 1847 she married Eliphalet Wright Day and they had three children:
- James Wright 1848-1908
- Louisa Jane 1849-1937
- Lucinda S. 1852-1941
- She lived in Steuben County until her death on 1 May 1905. She is buried close to her father at South Scott Cemetery.
